Just to clarify, I didn't mean that there should have been one (obviously it's the last thing that could have gone on) ...I'm just wondering what's happening with the players etc. They must be devastated.Originally posted by anniswan
Who really cares, but all I know is that I spoke to Cher who was in the room in the Noble Stand, I don't think they were expecting much to happenComment

I realised after I posted that I probably wasn't making much sense anyway... I was feeling so angry earlier and now I'm just incredibly sad. I can't believe that a man just died in front of 24 000 people and it's almost as though at the game that it didn't happen.Originally posted by anniswan
sorry to sound harsh Mono, just reading some dickhead on BF is making me more angry.
I only know as much as I reported.
this has really knocked the ****e out of me tonight.
Imagine playing footy knowing that someone you know (and evidently felt a lot of love/respect for) was passed away a few metres off the field.
I hope the boys are alright (even though I doubt they are). I'm don't even care that we lost anymore (a bit of a change from an hour ago).
It certainly does knock the wind out of you...to know a man was dying and I was watching some stupid footy being kicked around.Comment

Yeah. Stop knocking. The players knew what was going on. How would you feel having to keep on with it whilst one of your colleagues was dying? From where we were, something was happening for the last 10 minutes ... must have been longer as it takes a while to notice what's happening on the bench. Players were still being interchanged and runners were running. The story had to have got out. Players dropped after the game. Non-playing players were out of the race immediately. They all knew. Bugger out about the game, but nothing compared to a man's life and the impact on those who knew him.Dream, believe, achieve!Comment

Hi Guys
I can now think that the Swans lost the game because there minds were not on the job because of what happened to Wally Jackson
I could not believe what was happening in the final quarter
When I heard about the Head trainer it would have been difficult to keep your concentration
I only hope that the Swannies are tough and can bounce back from this but it will be extremely difficult
Regards Dazz
