    Josh Thewlis v Heath James

Nothing personal against Josh, but surely after playing last week Heath should have been the first guy to be called up once Fosdike was a late withdrawal?

And you cant say it was for team balance, because the only balancing Josh was doing was on the bench. He had about 5 minutes game time.

was wondering the same thing last night when Josh didn't play in the 2's and then when the team ran onto the field for the warm up. The record had 25 named so we were eliminating who was and wasn't warming up.

I like Josh's enthusiasm and Heaths tenacity. I wonder if there is more to it with Heath. Or is it just the case of blooding Josh with him ear marked for bigger and better next year?

Heath didn't play reserves either - or at least, not from the midpoint of the second quarter when I arrived.

Can only suppose that he had some niggling injury that prevented him playing.

No Heath didn't play in the 2's either. I just assumed as he was named as an emergency he was a replacement having played in the Lions win. I was of the thinking that perhaps Josh had injured himself slightly last week, but couldn't recall anything. I didn't expect he'd be taking the field in the main game in front of Heath.
