To Wally's family and the Swans,

I send my deepest sympathys to you for the passing of Wally Jackson. This man was an institution at the Swans and it's sad to see a life end the way it did. It's a real tragedy.

        Best Wishes

Wally is a member of our family. The Red and White family. It is a big family, but every member of the family is as important as every other member. Whether they be players, staff, coaches, volunteers, supporters or "fans", everyone is a part of the Swans "body".

For this reason, and for his loyal support and hard work over the years (much of it not recognised or even noticed by most people who watch & follow our great club), I offer my sincere condolences to his family, and my thanks to him.

              Wally Jackson RIP.

To Chris and Peter Jackson, Sydney Swans Players and all at the Swans Club

We want to tell you we have you all in our thoughts and prayers. Thinking of you as the days go by.

Chris and Peter - I feel for you, with the passing of your parents (from one who has lost both her parents) - I hope it is comfort for you both to know all of the Swans family and supporters are thinking of you and hope you get through your grieving with the support we have for you both.

For the Swans players and coaching staff - you are a great united group - support of each other and talking it out with friends will help - don't forget we are out here as supporters and club members thinking of you all and definitely have offered many prayers and thoughts for you - knowing how sad you must feel with the passing of Wally - A great personality man, father, and husband.

Comradeship was a great gift of Wally's - you the Swans have we believe great comradeship in the support of each other. You are and have been there when one of your team mates needs support for whatever the reason. United as a group will be your starting point of grieving for Wally.

May you play on each week knowing Wally and Clare are up above and supporting you from on high.

                Col, Jan, Darren and Brooke
                Love those Swans
