    Did the Players Know?

    I've only just learned about the tragedy on Saturday night and I havn't been able to glean from the posts on this board or the Swans website whether the players knew what was happening in the last quarter.

    If they did, I'm not surprised thay didn't find their best. I did notice that Bally was really bad in the last quarter as were a few other players. Very hard to perform when you are confronted with a personal shock like that. Playing top level football while a mate is paasing on would have to be a very big ask.

    Does anyone know what happened?
    We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!

      I say they knew, Micky was very emotional towards Archer at the end when he went up gave him a hug.

      Ball was next to wally at the time.

              But it is hard to imagine that Ball - who was resting on the bench when the Swans head trainer collapsed - was focused. It was Ball's deliberate handball out of bounds with a minute left that set up Corey Jones' match-winning free-kick goal.

                  Anybody else read Paul Gough's ponderings on afl web site this morning. I think it is a bit ordinary labelling JB "Villian of the Week" given this mornings news. I mean he must of been pretty close to the Jacksons to be a pall bearer a month ago. And then to be sitting next to Wally when it happened.
