    Six point loss??

I probably missed something with my head in my hands as I studied the concrete at the end of the Kangaroos game but how did we end up losing by six? Didn't we lose by five points?

Wasn't the last score the goal from the deliberate out of bounds in trying to avoid getting a behind which would of tied the game?

Rocca kicked a point after the siren

      Oh god, that is horrible!

(Heh, I seriously do not remember that and I even tried to get a chant going on that last centre-bounce. I stopped watching when we didn't clear it...)

I knew it was a 6 point loss but I thought the afl rule was that if you're going for goal, the ball has to leave your foot before the siren or it's not counted so I'm puzzled how Rocca's point was counted AFTER the siren.

          He had taken a mark.

...Umm, when Hall took a mark once and that siren went before he kicked his goal, he went cheezy because it wasn't counted onto the score!

Not sure which occasion you are referring to but either:

              - he didn't take a mark and was playing on; or
              - he did take a mark but deviated off his line and thus was determined to have played on

The rule is quite clear that a player can take a kick after the siren from a mark (or a free). Are you not aware of the famous Lockett point in the 1996 PF?
