Well for one....unlike some other club functions (eg Red and White Ball) the players are there! A bit on the pricey side IMHO but still something worth doing at least one.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I've done the last three and had a blast Sadly, I think I'll be interstate this time around, but with all the free booze, and general merriment that's usually had, it'll be good Make sure whoever goes has a happy digital camera again so we can re-live your fun here!

Hubby's birthday next week and his gift this year will be a digital camera. So I'll take plenty of pics.

Oh why can't the BF come down that weekend so you'll both be there.

I was looking forward to having a long catch up and a few of drinks without having to duck footballs and worrying about getting the banner up ..... etc.
Here's my heart and you can break it

Best of the functions to go to. The players let their hair down. Celebrations, dancing, et al.

Very little red and white. PLayers are in their suits. That's about it. Just chill out and get dressed up and have a fun old time!

                    Hey...

Whats the age restriction for the Best and Fairest? Is it 16 or 18?

I don't think there actually is an age restriction. My first one i attended at 17, but one of my friends has been going to that, and some of the others since she was 14. I guess common sense should prevail regarding alcohol consumption etc though.

I just booked for myself and the long lost Go Swannies. Mention RWO to Amanda (in events) when you book so we are not scattered all over the room.
