Agree Sharpie, we need all 22 playing at their best to win footy games. Especially away from home against a top 4 side.

But grief is a funny thing, it may just be what shocks/bonds the team together. The football may just be the best way for them to get their minds off the tragic events?

How about thursday and friday, supporters should send emails or faxes to the Club (players and staff), acknowledging their grief and a message of support. They will need a purpose to get themselves up.
I was chatting with one of my bear mate online last night. He tragically lost his partner walking from an event at the Olympic Stadium during Sydney 2000.

I suggested that he write to the club to just say that he knows how it feels and to perhaps offer suggestions using his personal experience of how they could overcome the feelings of grief that they are obviously feeling today at Wally's funeral.

Having said that, I think Destructive needs a special mention for his efforts in attending Saturday's match. His Grandpa died that morning, and it was obvious to see that he was still in a totally bewildered state when he arrived at the game.

You could imagine what state he was in at the end of the match, having sat through that last quarter, and then heard the news about Wally.

RESPECT MATE! It was a monumentus effort just to attend the match on Saturday.

Ball certainly wasn't up to it when he punched the sherrin straight out of bounds with minutes to go. Cripes, even I knew that was a dumb and dumber manouvre. Still gets the hackles up just thinking about it ....
