    To all the Doyle Doubters.......

    HELLO!!!!

BTW in the Hun they mentioned in passing that "Ball did well also when Doyle had a rest on the bench...."

Best game I've seen him play. Hope he continues to improve and can have an injury free pre-season for next year. Good to see him marking well again too. Thanks for the stats - some people who come here really must have a lot of time on their hands, or just REALLY love the Swans. Thanks again sharp9

One game doesnt make you a superstar, but it certainly helps keep the RWO attacks at bay...

well done Doyley. He did alot of good things last night - his marking especially.

          1 game in how many.

I remember one Jon Stevens having a field day against the hawks at waverly one Sunday afternoon.

Still the big man played well last night.

even if it was only one game.. it makes the possibility of a second impressive game that bit more possible.

was used sensibly by Roos, playing him up forward early really threw the Dee defence into chaos. White seems to be struggling a bit at the minute.

OK the humble pie doesn't taste that good. Maybe he read our RWO, and thought he had better get his act together.... OR maybe he is peaking at the right end of the season!!!!!

Has more to do with the fact that he has finally managed to string 15 games together.

Like all ruckman they take time to develop their game, unfortunately for Doyle his development has been hindered by injury.

He has the talent, just needs to play a couple of seasons of week in and week out football before we will see it on a consistent basis.

The Fuse was on fire last night.

Now he has to stay injury free and perfrom like that every week.

                        Spot on.

Given that ruckmen peak later than other players, he's probably not going to be at his best for at least another five seasons.

The problem is not with Doyle's progress (as long as he doesn't have any more serious injuries), but rather how we are going to cover the period between Ball's retirement and Eriksson becoming a regular contributor.

I wasn't a Doyle fan and used to cringe everytime he went near the ball. I'm glad he proved me wrong on Saturday night and I hope that he continues to do so ! Great game.

Still a Donkey and a Dud - one game don't make a season.

White has been shouldering Melbourne's Ruck Division on his own this season and was clearly stuffed from this workload, whereas Doyle should be fresh as a daisy because of limited game time.
Well somebody told me, You had a boyfriend, Who looks like a girlfriend,That I had in February of last year, It's not confidential, I've got potential

As I posted last week, Doyle will continue to develop into our No1 ruckman next year. If you look at the time he has spent on the ground it has been miminmal apart from the last 3- 4 games. He has been nursed along and is gaining more confidence each week, will be a great asset in the finals.

I made the trip to the Dome, I thought the crowd was 60/40 Melb supporters but apart from when Melb first ran out they were very quiet.

                              Cheers
