Reserves thrashing Ainslie

Unfortunately, I was only able to spend a very short time watching the Reserves play Ainslie today in the Canberra comp. The Swans were leading by about 15 goals over a usually strong Ainslie.

All the Swans players were dominating their opponents so it was hard to pick really outstanding players. One point that was very significant was the placement of Adam Schneider on the ball obviously IN A MOVE DESIGNED TO GET HIM MATCH FIT. Schneids was moving well with no sign of hamstring soreness.. Maybe one more game in the Reserves could do the trick to help him regain fitness and confidence. i

In an unexpected turn of events, the ACTAFL website actually has the results posted today:

What the heck is going on? On form we should have struggled to beat Ainslie at all, let alone by 20 goals! Hard to complain, though.
And they've given themselves a decent chance of making the finals, which will be very important if the league team makes it past week 1 of the AFL finals.

In the last 2 rounds:

* The Sydney Swans reserves play Wagga Tigers (6th) and Weston Creek (8th).
* The Swans' rivals for 4th place, Eastlake, play Ainslie (3rd) and Queanbeyan (2nd).

The Swans reserves are a good chance to sneak into 4th because Eastlake are one game ahead with an inferior percentage, and Eastlake's draw is harder.

I gald you posted the results site, as I was very confused last night. After reading SWANSBEST post about being 15 goals up, I go home last night and read the HS to discover the swans lost by about 20 points and were never 15 goals infront. Then I go to the above mentioned sites and we won by 18 goals!!! Good to see the papers have the correct results!!!!
