    Mark McVeigh

Sydney boy, signed a one year contract so he's off-contract same time as his brother, although officially he has stated its to put pressure on himself to keep performing. He's a quality small defender and handy midfielder, although suprisingly he's a shocking tagger when he's so good at limiting small forwards. He is good at delivering the ball into the forward line, and would fit your gameplan reasonably well as a midfielder.
What would you be prepared to offer for him?

I am not positive we need him, even though I like the idea of having brothers playing for us - and being local.

It would have to be a cheap deal I imagine.

We have had a debate about him before in which I said if he wants to come to Sydney he should go in the pre season draft. We don't really need small backmen/handy midfielders as we have plenty already.I wouldn't mind Hille at the Swans. What would you want for him?

              3rd Round Draft pick.

Mark doesn't fill a pressing need for the club considering we have players like Jared Crouch, Paul Bevan and Ben Fixter who can all play the same role as good as McVeigh.

We've put lots of time and money into developing Hille, the offer would need to be good. The backups aren't ready to take on his role yet, meaning increased reliance on the ageing Matty Allan.
Young O'Keefe would be of interest, as would Jaryd McVeigh and draft picks. Apart from that, nothing that you could give up - wouldn't mind another key defender but thats out of the question
As expected, Mcveigh is the type of player that is worth more to the club then he is on the open market. Vital cog in our side but would attract nothing if up for trade.

P*ss of bomber fans, i am already upset at how many quality NSW players you have gotten over the years . Not to mention the crap that your snake charmin coach has off loaded to the gulible Swans heirachy.
Tell ya what come back next week after we have thrashed ya at stadium Oz, and maybe we will be in a good enough mood to give ya warfe and a 5th round draft pick.
Other wise we will see ya at the preseason draft .

I would offer a Big Mac and large chips for him!

What would he bring that we dont already have - Midsize player average skills, just a worker - sounds like half of our list.

                      Cheers

I didn't realise how highly Hille was regarded.I thought he would have been number 1 ruckman this year.No deal.

he's treaded water this year has Hille, hit a slump in form, he's big with a turning circle like the queen mary and if he's down on confidence this combines to make him look very sluggish indeed. but when he's up he great, and last week showed how good he is, gave Fraser a thrashing.. haha, pick 40 vs pick 1.

Only positive is he is a NSW born, We dont require him and have a number of players in is role already I am with Robbie 3rd round pic or try his lack in the preseason draft.

Jarrad has only recently signed on for another 2 years and won't be going anywhere. Would be great to have the brothers playing together. Mark has definately improved this year which is in his favour but doubt we'd offer too much.
