Unfortunately i cant make it to the game but will certainly be yelling loud for the swans with to other members of my family barrack for essendon. Thinking of going to the pub to watch it!!

Im sure even without me all the swans fans will make plenty of noise to get our mighty bloods over the line!

Essendon supporters are some of the most vile pieces of ****s you ever will come across-loud, cocky and incredibly obnoxious.

I heard reports that last year the Essendon Cheer Squad and supporters spent the whole train trip back from the Stadium slagging out all things Sydney. And everyone shutting up for fear of them getting into an argument.

I'm NOT advocating violence by any imagination. But if you hear Essendon supporters spouting off ****, fire back at them. They will not cope with it, I can tell you. Sydney supporters have to toughen up and start fighting fire with fire sometimes.

Here are some barbs to give those in red and black. They may well come in handy.

-They dominated footy for 4 years yet only won one flag.
-Ask them how the Carlton semi was in 1999.
-Ask them what it felt like when Plugger took that kick in 1996.
-Ask them what it is like to watch a game where you can see the stars.
-Ask them why when they are the greatest club under the sun that they ONLY managed to get 38000 against us (when 13-15k were there supporting us!!!)
_ask them how many frees they'd get if Lloyd didn't dive ever 30 seconds
-Ask them whether they paid any of Hird's $20000 fine.
-Ask them what it is like to have their Cheer Squad fined $43000 for displaying a message "Shame Sydney shame, you're a disgrace to the game. (The guy who did it goes by the name of Shane, and is a complete twathead.)
-Ask them what district footy association Jude Bolton came from.

Can anyone think of any more barbs we can hurl at the menagerie in black and red?

I just hate Essendon supporters (Norris Lurker exempted of course .

Yep was in that carriage back to Redfern. They were singing all the way back to the city. Mostly songs about how crap Sydney, City Rail and the Swans are. You'd think they had just won.

More barbs for Bomber fans:

* They are the only club that has lost to Collingwood in a Grand Final in the last 45 years.
* They are the only club that has ever lost to Port Adelaide in a final; and they have done it twice.
* They were the opposition when the Swans recorded their biggest ever win and biggest ever score (163 points, 36.20.236 to 10.13.73, in 1987).
* Ask them about 1 point preliminary finals.
* Speculate about how Lloyd missed his true calling - he should be in Athens taking on the Chinese in the Olympic diving.
* Speculate on how the Bombers will go once Fletcher and Hird retire.

All the more reason why it can be an atmosphere like the Brisbane final.

Let's send the bombers back home and give sheedy something to think about for next year.

In Sydney it is very different. We passively sit by as bogan from Elsternwick and Broadmeadow give us a caning. I got my head punched in by a wanker in Carlton's grog squad back in 94 because I was the only one firing back at their barbs.

I just wish the Sydney fans had more mungrel in them. But sadly with so many white collar people in our supporter base, you just don't get that up here.

It also means that despite the whinging you get on Bigfooty.com about us being boring, that most people want us in the finals.

a good sign when you consider that we may well be playing a game at the MCG with a mainly neutral crowd.

Yeah, in 1995. This Swans guy was held back whilst two other Carlton Grog Squad maggots laid into him.
