    IMO Schneider will play.

How often do we NOT have a late omission?
McVeigh's played almost every game this year, despite being named as an emergency for half of them.

Williams is a week-to-week proposition ATM and Nicks had injury problems after last week's match. One of them will make way for Schneider. IMO.

well if Scheider plays he will have to show more than he did when returning, he was a liablility and his kicking was sub-standard.

Tough question.I don't see the benefit in dropping Monty or Ablett, so maybe McVeigh.Schneids would be a great contrast to Ben "extra two seconds man" Mathews. Williams and Maxfield are needed for the experience.Nicks is playing really well.So that leaves Mcveigh, unfortunately.

If Officer Schnieder was to play, surely it would be either McVeigh, Nicks or Amon that would go. Nobody else.

Why Nicks??? Has been one of our best players in the last month or two.
            Once was, now elsewhere

Great question, sfan. I'll bite the bullet (and hopefully upset someone) and say Ablett.

I don't believe in running our players down just to look clever, and Ablett did play probably a career-best game against Brissie. That said, I don't think he's among our best 22 players. Not fast enough to play on the wing, and (ironically given his surname) he doesn't appear to have yet developed the skills to choose the right option under the pressure of league footy. I sincerely hope he proves me wrong on Saturday night.

'Timmy' McVeigh ain't just a very good prospect- he's a definite best-team player at the moment. Shows great class for his age.

Buchanan has showed great toe this year, but he'd be warming the bench to spend 10 minutes a quarter pinch-hitting for Schneider, every time for mine.
