I think both these guys are better assistants than head coachs(Drum types), Cressa maybe half a chance down the track once hes gained more experince.

off the assistants and so on..,. (off the top of my head ) id say

Mark Harvey... is ready now and better get in soon before he is forgotten .... or he could still wait for sheedy to leave i guess

Gary O Donnell... must be close... has a good reputation!

Brian Royal:- how many rejections has he had... never will coach!

Daryn Cresswell:- will end up being a great coach.... and im not suggesting roosy is in trouble (roosy is awesome) but if roosy did go in the next 5 or so years cressa could coach the swans

John Longmire..just dont see him as a coach

Wayne Brittan:- stuffed be lucky if wallace keeps him

Libratore (sp) what a little toss....but he seems a popular choice as a future coach!

then theres a few like crocker and malaxos i cant see going futher and lets not forget matty armstrong :P... coaching the tassie devils.. he did work at brisbane and took nth launnie through a season undefeated so who knows?

of the current players who can people see ending up coaching?
Theres not much left to say

          That is a hard one!

Matty Primus is one that springs to mind.

I wonder how many people thought Sheedy, Blight, Matthews and Malthouse would become the great coaches of this generation?

i always thought the players like a sheedy and malthouse seem to end up good coaches... u know the tough players who play a while but arent considered champions

leigh matthews and malcolm blight are exceptions to the rule... and its probably a silly view anyway

but based on that i always saw cressa as a future coach and now i would say from the swans say ummm maybe kirk or schuable

other clubs umm.... alistair lynch, powell, riccardi not sure who else

There's a big difference though between potential assistant coaches and potential senior coaches.

I could see someone like Lynch in an assistant role, but not as a senior coach.

Possible senior coaches, maybe Peter Bell (if he doesn't go back to law), Tyson Edwards....

              I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Why would you call a big press conference just to announce who you are interviewing.

Whole thing is a waste of time anyway as Ayres will get the job.

If James Clement never coaches, it will only be because he doesn't want to.

                  Jared Crouch as well.

There's something about players who spend a lot of time in the back pocket... Parkin, Sheedy, Malthouse and Pagan are just the recent ones that spring to mind.
                  We hate Anthony Rocca
                  We hate Shannon Grant too
                  We hate scumbag Gaspar

Probably spend a lot of time on the field dreaming up strategies to stop the ball coming up to them!

He was coaching in Tasmania for a few years (No idea if he still is).

For some reason, can't see him as a big time motivator, but I will stand corrected!

He's been coaching Gisborne. They've won the last 2 flags under him, and only a bout of very bad luck will stop them winning their third. I doubt there's too many people out there with a better football brain. As quoted in this weeks Inside Football, Leigh Mathews calls him "The Professor Of Football".

I thought we looked like a rabble the way handled Eade to Roos but we look dead set like Anthony Robbins compared to the Hawks at the moment.
