Probably right... it will be a tough tap on the shoulder for Roosy if it is one of those fellows, guys who have played 19 (McVeigh) and 18 games (Ablett) probably losing a run in a final...Originally posted by midaro
Ablett
...possibly McVeighI knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Hopefully its next week, rather than the first final - just to make it that little less painful.Originally posted by stellation

IMO it will be a toss up between giving one bloke the chance to assure his place on the list next year (Ablett; although he probably already has) or get the other bloke one game closer to be a star, plus some finals experience (McVeigh).Comment

Hmm not encouraging, maybe we are better to leave him in the 2s for the rest of the season he really needs to be fully fit to be of any use. As for Williams he does not look fit and as is playing like it.Originally posted by janpa
Schneider didn't play fantastic had some time on bech too. Felt Seniors team played heaps well - although think williams is hurt - have a feeling he may not play on to 2005.Comment

Schneider was ok. He was playing in the midfield. He didn't pull off any of his classy little touches we became used to last year, but was solid. Running the ball and feeding the forward line. It was all about getting some touches and getting some running back into his legs and lungs. I wouldn't worry about what he showed out there as I think he's on track, but I probably would give him another match to ensure he's set.
Score was
Swans 16-18-114
Tigers 8/9/59Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release

Shneider has certainly found it harder to regain his touch than Davis, maybe he's trying too hard to do the classy things. One thing about ND is that he rarely loses touch after long spells. Willo is definitely playing sore which hampers the midfield.LIFE GOES ONComment
