Lets hope next week starts a run of wins at the MCG

admittedly, the AFL will lose every shred of credibility if this "home" final has to be played in melbourne. but it was the deal at the time that screwed non victorian clubs. it seemed a good deal at the time though.

but in the tradition of cup finals in soccer and superbowl/grey cup etc, ive always wanted to see a game of AFL played in a neutral venue just to see what would happen. that dream of a GF with two non victorian teams i thought would be the first time id get a chance to see it, but voila, we may get a chance now.

we should be very well with picking up neutral support in melbourne. like the GF in 96, we did well that day.

      cheers

It's a disgrace - there's not two ways about it. You work hard all season to EARN your spot on the ladder and whatever benefits come with it (eg a home final, a double chance etc). The MCC are even lower in my estimation than Eddie Macguire right now.
