    ROK - the secret weapon

can he hold a mark or what?

With Hall Davis and Mickey taking the major heat in the forward line, he could just be our shining light come finals time.

    Oops, I've said too much.....

Interesting that on the Footy Show today, Mark Bickley mentioned the other three but not RO'K - I think he's slipping under the radar for a lot of people. They are all great kicks, and give us IMHO the most potent forward line in the comp.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

be great if he got recogniton... but glad he isnt... keeps the attention off him and allows him to go unnoticed and play free!

problem is he's getting noticed by the coaches from other teams as that's all that counts in regard to who notices him outside our club. He has been picked up by some pretty formidable opponents this year, even if they are the third tier defender, but he's made his presence felt.

IMO it's the way Roos has him playing all over the forward line and drifting into the midfield and even backline in some games that has the other coaches and opponents guessing. I'm by no means suggesting it's only his positional play I wouldn't want to take anything away from his natural ability and that beautiful beautfiul left kick

Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

At the risk of alienating Bam Bam and BonBon (both of whom have a healthy level of "interest" in Pebbles), I think Craig Bolton is fast becoming the "wild card" in our side.

Roos is starting to use Craig in a lotmore attacking moves. With Bevan doing such a splendid fourth defender role, Craig is now more free to roam up the ground. His high fitness rate, and accurate kicking makes him important, but he will slip under a lot of coaches guards.

              ROK Rocks!!!!

He is becoming one of those players that when he gets near the ball you know something special may happen. Very exciting player.

I hope he improves next year as much as he has this year, he will then be a superstar.

                The block is a gun.

Once we get our midfield in order what team can hold a forward line consisting of Hall, O'Loughlin, Davis and O'Keefe??

Yep, if he is within 70 metres of goal and on the run he is going to have a shot!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

and I love it when he does. That was the first thing I noticed about him was that booming kick, especially as it was during a time where almost no one would back themselves from outside 50. The prospect of having someone do that regularly was exciting.

don't worry Schneiderman, I do agree with you re B2, very very underated player. Did an excellent job Pike a few weeks ago and also after letting him get the better of him in the first half contained Hird as best he can be contained.
