    Goldspink ---- A 300 game buffoon!

I think the Goldspink lecture on Bevan was right up there with the most disgraceful pieces of umpiring in memory!

Have we ever seen Goldie (or any ump) lecture serial offenders like Wanganeen, Brett Harvey, Matthew LLoyd?

    Of course not...

Didn't hear him lecturing "Hirdy" either when he threw the ball away in disgust in the third quarter. Blatant free kick. What did Goldstink do?? Nothing but a little tap on "Hirdy's" shoulder says Come on mate enough of that!!!
      Absolutely shocking!

And the lecture of Tadhg for not "giving him enough room" was both kurt and cowardly. Is Darren afraid of tripping over Tadgh's leg as he runs backwards?

Falling over on a footy field! Geesh what a novelty.

His umpiring was at its absolute worst on Saturday night. He umpiried like he knew how well hated he is by the whole of Sydney.

He is not even hiding his hatred for us these days.

I don't know if I agree, although I never thought I'd see the day when I stood up for #32.

Other than assuming his new role role as "player counsellor", I thought he let things flow on pretty well and put the whistle away. Certainly didn't fall for the usual Don free staging tactics. I can recall one Lloyd 'push', in particular, he ignored. But then again a win does generally colur your view of the umpire's overall performance.

Absolutely, Dons fans are furious, claiming that the 18 kicks we got were all unjustified.

I think the Dons tackling was sloppy and ineffective and that counted for the first 5 frees against them.

Quartermain did suggest during the call that Goldypox had paid enough controversial decisions for one night so would be reluctant to pay Baz one for a similar infringement to the Schauble one.
