    Mongrel

We saw on the weekend what happens when a highly skillfull team comes up againts a highley skillfull team who also have a bit of skill along with a bit of determination and a touch of the muscel and will to use it an angry kind of way (mongrel).
Everyone knows the results . The Saints were intimidated and out gunned.
Do the Swans have enough mongrel ??

Yep, and a bit more. The Swans have had something more the last two games. They are really playing for each other now. They look very close as a group and ready to put their body on the line for their mates. There is a real sense of application there now. The last two games have been the most I have enjoyed watching them play. All through both games I have just felt certain that we were going to win - it is usually the opposite waiting for them to implode. I think this w/e against Rich will show us a lot. I hope they take the same determination to the G and absolutely bury them. If they do that they are giving themselves every chance in Sep. If they take their foot off the pedal I am scared that they may lose momentum.

But they have always had the mongrel - it's just that they only ever got it out when they were expected to lose...
