Yep, the Pies would pick him up in the PSD just to spite us. They'd sign him for one year and leave him to rot in the reserves, then let us have hiim in 2006.

That sort of scenario isn't realistic in the days of 38 player lists - especially when McVeigh can put a price on his head
Originally posted by dendol I wasnt being totally serious. But then again, who can really rule it out when we are talking about Collingwood and Essendon here.
LOL
Does anyone no what the success rate has been for players manipulating the PSD to get where they want?
Davis got here without having to use it.
C Bolton didn't really attract much in the way of hurt feelings - did he?
The only other example I can think of is Nick Stevens/Jade Rawlings.
Really, given that our salary cap is in good shape, is it only 'etiquette' that stops us from getting M McVeigh (if we want him at all) through the PSD, without attempting a trade first?
Originally posted by Slick Swans I was just wondering what everyone thinks the chances are of us getting him to play with his brother next year, since he was probly the best don player on saturday, i would love to have him.
None, if the story today on BomberBlitz is to be believed
