I reckon young Schneids has had his fair share of KFC this year during his layoff. I hope it means more energy come finals time......

I like the skills Davis brings to the Swans but I don't think his attitude as shown by that article is up to scratch. He admitted he trains at 80% yet plays at 100%.Perhaps he should ask himself if he trained at 100% would his "100%" effort in games be a lot more valuable than his current 100%.I hope that makes sense.

I said a few weeks ago I thought he had love handles and was proven right. And Schneider the comment about training is spot on, perfect practice makes perfect. I do sense though that Roos is alert to what's going on.

Who cares how much he eats or how hard he trains as long as he kicked his 3 goals per match.

It does matter if he really wants to play in the midfield. But hey, Im not complaining about his 3 goals per game at the moment, so let him have his KFC!

Snowy you made your mind up about Nick ages ago, and you grab eveeeeery opportunity to try to vindicate that opinion.

He had bloody "love handles" because he missed half the season. Maybe he should have had liposuction before he returned. I guess he's not posing for a porn magazine, he's trying to work himself back to fitness, and hold everything together at the same time, and heaven forbid, just have a joke along the way. Maybe we should hang him for having a personality?

From memory you've also said he's a bad kick, a liar, a mental case, and a host of other crap. You once said something along the lines that he was weak and let people intimidate him, yet i've noticed him sticking up for himself rather well and getting more physical in contests as recent as last Saturday night.

Either you mustn't have seen the same things, or you have and just haven't commented because they didn't fall into the " And i was proven right" basket.

Either that or you were a very ordinary footballer yourself, and hate anyone who has the ability to make highly skilled things look easy.

One day he might do something that you, Jenny Craig & Dr Phil approve of. I guess the rest of us will just have to make do with knowing that when he gets the ball, something very good usually happens.
Sit down or i swear to God i'll have you shot.

Ruda that was a bit harsh. On performance he can't be condemned and I agree he has a bit of personality. But these days clubs are professional environments and younger players look for role models ; eating junk food hardly sets the best example. If he had the application of some of players like Hird, Buckley and Kirk he could be a superstar. I have always made the comment that I think he wastes his talent a bit. The love handles was an observation ; frankly I was surprised when I saw them on the footage of training. Never had anything against him personally though, I think he is a mega talent. But Laidley made an interesting comment recently along the lines of he never congratulates players for inheriting their parents' talent, more the ones with the great work ethic. We all know Davis has good bloodlines with the Crosswell and Craig Davis genes.

Hey can i ask you something Ruda, silly question i know, but are you Nick Davis under a different guise?

Reason i ask is b/c u followed him over from the pies, know a lot about him and when someone attacks him you defend him like he was your own son.

                      Just wondering that's all!

If he did I wouldn't complain but he is averaging 1.3 goals for his career and 1.4 for the Swans. With better fitness combined with his already excellent skills he would be a lot more valuable to the Swans.Surely it is not too much to ask for a professional footballer to get as fit as he can.

Trust me Snowy, those love handles are going

Also, Nick is known as a joker. And he will tell anybody that. Some of the things he says are taken out of context and made more serious then they are meant ...

                            Latest news from Sydney airport!

Neil a mate of mine who follows Northern Spirit with me sent this message through from his work.

                            "
Just been at the airport having lunch, and saw the Swans players there.
                            (BOOOOOOO!! Go the Eagles!!)

Anyway there was a group of them (including Barry Hall) that were all
sitting in a small restaurant (proper food) type place while Paul Roos was
walking around talking to players, etc.

As soon as Paul Roos left (to go wherever coaches go at times like these-
maybe to talk to media?), they all got up and went straight to Hungry
                            Jack's!!

Put your money on Richmond!!!! haha"
