Finally we get a player with talent and character and the do-goodies get stuck into him!! Never did I think Sydney would become a Richmond and eat their young!

"He's too fat", "He's not committed enough", "He should pull his head in".

5 goals, people. 4 in the first half against the reigning premiers!

Thank God the whole Aker thing was just a ploy to get paid more. Football is meant to be entertainment.

            You deserve it.

Do the Swans have a deal with Nick that ties number of goals to number slices of pizza after the game? He looked kinda hungry today.

Really? Sure he kicked 5 goals yesterday but this is the sort of thing thats peps up his inflated ego.

That's not what he said at all. He said he couldn't be bothered doing rehab because he wanted to play football. Significantly different. He also hates fitness work, and plenty of footballers, and other sports people, have been like that. He dislikes training generally because he's lazy - which is a little bit different to the spin you're putting on it.

                      Yeah, his behaviour is shocking.

Saying things like that, and then coming out and kicking five goals . . . it's a disgrace!

I reckon he should shape up or ship out . . . who cares if he's a matchwinner?

If he doesn't behave like a proper, decent footballer, then he shouldn't be allowed to play the game!

He obviously isn't happy playing footy and is a long way off giving 100%. He is a selfish individual, up himself and will be a liability to our team.
Well Boofhead and Simon from Tassie were at Melbourne Casino last night, where apparently most of the boys were having a right royal old time, and were pissed as knits. Simon said all of them were really affable and happy to have a yarn, except one. You guessed it, Nick Davis.

I've seen him waltz around at airports and on planes as if he was God. I know he is somewhat quirky, but being a snob to everyone will get him nowhere in the popularity stakes. Imagine how our WA-based members reacted when he couldn't be bothered talking up on stage at the after-match over there.

I know there are always two sides to the story. And if he still kicks 3-4 goals a game, he can do what he likes (shiny silver boots and all).

Doesn't mean I still don't think he is up himself.

Yeah and being lazy means he realies on his talent to carry him through while others work their butt off in the training paddock. As someone mentioned Heath James is the perfect example. He hated it but you didn't hear him whinge and carry on like a brat.

But I am sure Paul Roos has him in check and knows what's going on. Sorry to use a tired clich?, but there's no I in team, but in nicks case it seems he knows there is a ME.

Still i never questioned his ability as a footballer, as I was grinning from ear to ear when he joined up. So easy on the sarcastic comments.

Really? Maybe you should have read the comment he made today about making a pact with himself about contributing to the team, which whether you like it or not -- he is doing.

But with his ability he could well kick 6.

I think this is the issue Robbie.
