Agree. But his good record may get him off this once?

Basically what I said above. Will get a week at absolute worst.

As for Schneider, I think he reminded us in parts exactly how good he was last season. He did something with nearly every possession that he got, and basically spent the least amount of game time on the ground than any other Swan.

Was impressed with his skills considering he has been out of the seniors for a while, and has been suffering injuries.

Will only be stronger next week now for the run, no point wasting in reserves.

How about Goodes' mark that wasn't paid? He was ripped off.

How about the multiple replays whenever Richo was within 15m of the ball? Goodes was a certainty, as was the one Crouch took, but Ch 10 was more interested in whether Richo took the (obviously dropped) mark on their 50

The Richmond player who got the hit did a little fake kick which is what I think brought Buchanen in the air in an effort to block the kick. A bit unlucky if he is reported for that, was a resonable mistake/accident. Players shouldn't just do fakes and expect nothing to happen particularily if they run in the direction of the fake.

            Thought Schneider was very impressive...

Very very glad to see O'Loughlin on the bench in the 4th term - well done Roos!!

Missed the last half as I had to go what I thought was going to be a boring Netball final today thanks to work (boy was I wrong, GO SWIFTS)- but it seems we finally have it together at the right time of year....(First bit of the first quarter was a worry, but not unexpected I guess)

Going to be an interesting 4 weeks (Hopefully )

I thought the initial contact was on the top of the back then slipped up to the neck. What made it looked bad is the Richmond player face planted and almost knocked himself out.
Having said that I can't work out the tribunal. He'll probably get 10 weeks.
Amon started the game trying to break the AFL's record for clangers but I couldn't fault his hardness at the ball.

Wasn't much in it, I thought the contact was more due to the player stopping and propping to try and avoid the player .. therefore Buchanan tried to counter it, but was too far advanced.

Free kick yes, report? Shouldn't be...
I spoke to Buchy tonite, he didn't seem to concerned about it, said there was no malice in it. Sam Newman said the same thing on MMM. So Hopefully it won't come to anything. The Umps gave a free and no report was made.

It was just a clumsy slap... free kick was appropriate punishment and will have no problems.

Yes he did several absolutely TERRIBLE things like overrunning the ball, dropping a simple chest mark and a shocking kick whilst under little pressure.

Let's hope he doesn't do any of that in a final.

Finally got a chance to get online after the game, it's been a long day.

Monty's hit: The free kick was warranted for high contact. I don't want to call whether it goes to the tribunal because I don't know.

Davis: 5 goals was a great return. Another shot of his in the 3rd quarter would have been a candidate for goal of the year had it gone through (a snap from the pocket at a very narrow angle that bounced several times through traffic). Our forwards are hard to stop if they get good supply.

Richardson: One of the worst misses of the year in the first quarter. He was less than ten metres out and couldn't hit a target seven metres wide from a set shot. The double teaming after the first quarter worked very well to negate his influence.

He'll most likely get a week because he left the ground (ie: became airborn)

You have not taken one variable into account what about the games the other teams should of one so If all teams had one those surpposed games the ladder whould be exactly the same

I spoke to one of the Swans' training staff and he said at that time the baby had NOT been born as yet.

BRETT KIRK-A TRUE SYDNEY CLUBMAN!!!! To make such such a personally gut-wrenching decision in the name of the team says a lot for the character of the bloke.
