From Perth? Doubt that very much.

However there will be plenty of myopic expats in attendence as there always is when the Wet Toast or Adeaide play.

But they will be no much for the power of the Harbour City, the might of the red and white, the Roar of the BLOODS!

It is time to get fired up, like Mark Gasnier!!!!

Could you imagine how pissed off the travelling Eagles fans would be to see people wearing Swans scarves checking in at Perth airport?!

I'd be tempted to fly to Perth just to do that and annoy them.

I'm definite that at least some of the WA Swans Supporters club members will be flying over. They'd love nothing more than for us to beat the Eagles. Work on Monday week would be sweet as.

A big contingent of West Coast supporters will be going, I heard on the radio today (Sunday) on 6PR (radio) - biased George Grjluisich . A local Travel Agency was inundated. He had six telephone lines operating. $288 for accomodation for 2 nights plus air fare.
If I could use my frequent flyers I would go. Where would one stay?

Parramatta would be your best bet for a choice of motels/hotels and proximity to the stadium.

By the way I think around 60k crowd would not be unreasonable.

With only 6 days to sell the entire venue I would think anything above 40k is good with WC being the oppostion.

Not sure what kind of crowd we will get. I'm hoping for a sellout but who knows.

Isn't it a shame that in a city of 4 million we cannot gurantee a sellout for the only final in Sydney this season?

This is why I'm saying 40k, as we didn't sell out the prelim last year AND we had two weeks to sell the tickets AND that fabulous win over Port as a catalyst

I agree 100%. With no build up and such a short time frime I can't imagine to have more that 45000 people there.

not to mention the four-tickets-per-membership restriction. i took a lot of people to their first game last year because i was able to buy as many as i wanted for the semi.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

                            4 per membership ?!?!? I didn't realise that. That's a ridiculous constraint

Yep just had a look at the ticketek website and this is the case. I can understand if it was at the SCG but for Stade de Oz seems a bit strange

Just as frustrating is that CS members HAVE to make bookings through a credit card. Many in our gang are students etc etc. Luckily I have come to the rescue of SR4E and Beaussie and bought their tickets for them.

However the lass in Membership was VERY helpful in processing my order. So it was quick and easy.

And Cathy the CS pres now has time to stress over other things.
