Cheers Jules, you're a legend mate.

Although the club is kind of damned if you do and damned if you don't. Last year I remember was unlimited tickets for members which pi ssed a lot of people off as they were unhappy with the quailty of seats they eventually purchased, but at the same time I believe a limit of 4 is going to hurt the crowd figure, as one of the attractions of going to the footy is being with a group of mates. Last year's PF was great in that all of your mates who sit at various parts of the ground were able to sit together for one match.

Maybe a limit of 8-10 would have been better.

Any it is the AFL's show, not the Swans.

I reckon 45,000, which would be excellent given the ticket price ($60 undercover), low Weagles following, Olympic hangover and short notice.

Forecast for Saturday is fine so who needs cover. I have good seats where we usually sit at Telstra for $32.50. And the 4 tix limit for members only applies for sitting in the membesr reserve, so as to enable all members to be able to bring four friends. Large parts of Telstra are general admission.

I think you'll find there is no members reserve for Swans members, and that all seats are reserved, i.e. no GA, and that all Swans members have a limit of 4. Besides this, everything you have said is correct

Sorry, by general admission I meant that anyone, not just Swans members, can buy tix (from tomorrow). And they can buy as many as they like. You are correct that all seating is reserved.

OK my bad. Actually (slaps own wrist) I am not correct. The Telstra Stadium Members area is GA funnily enough. A friend whose a member said they just have to rock up. TS obvioulsy couldn't be bothered there asse s seating all their members in such a short period. (Not that many of them have been attending Swans games in great numbers anyway - their area for the Bombers game looked sh ithouse)

well this crowd question is the most varied since well like ever, i mean weve heard crowds from 40,000 to a possible 70,000 but with only one week of ticket sales i think 46,420 will be the crowd, mark my words

Heard on the radio this evening that they had sold 14,500 tickets today. I would think that is disappointing.

I think for Day 1 14,500 tickets is pretty good.

I am a footy club member as well as a Telstra Stadium member, and I have booked 5 guest tickets for Saturday night, which I would think would not be included in the tally at this stage.

The Members Reserve at Telstra holds over 18,500 seats, and that allocation won't be available to the public unless the rest of the seats are sold out.

I'll be pretty surprised if there isn't 60,000 on Saturday night.

I've done my bit buying guest tickets for my mates!

But this number doesn't include Telstra Stadium members who just rock up on the night. There are 18000 of them. You'd hope for at least 10000.

The proof will be in the pudding today when tickets go on sale to the public.

I still say that 40k will be a good crowd.
