Have to agree with "mja" its not a penisular, nor is it insular - its just a nice place to live. Sure it gets a bit tricky in summer when the fires are on, but I guess you get used to that evacuation, hosing the house down scenario.
The northen beaches are lovely too, & when I meet that rich bloke of my dreams, I think a house at Palmy would suffice!

Just going off now to have some Chardy on my wheaties.....
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Liberal voters. Hmmm. Now that's disturbing.

Most people refrain from alighting out West because you want to increase your chances of surviving a the trip home!

No thank god!!! The first time I had lost the car there I had been living in the country for a bit - came down for xmas just after the place had been extended - do you think I could find the car? loaded up with breakable christmas gifts - ended up having a bit of a panic thinking it had been stolen - turns out I was on the wrong level up the wrong end!!!:

God, the furthest west I like to go in Sydney is Marrickville "Hetero" Metro. Has anyone seen how depressing and delapidated the Kmart there is? And the freaks you get on the 355 bus...

PLUS the NRL supporter gear than has been sitting out the front of the sports store ALL YEAR and has been reduced to $10 so they can get rid of it all. (No joke-polos, spray jackets t-shirts all for $10 and all unwanted all season-Souths Knights Sharks Broncos and St George fans I'd recommend having a bo peep at it all.)

PS:- Wish I could reply to this fat bitch in Freo "Allphones" Cheer Squad who said cattily that we wouldn't make the finals. Maybe she can have a banana flavoured beer at the Sail & Anchor in Fremantle. (Still having said that, I like Freo.)

By the way Fremantle are imploding over here. A letter to the Editor was published in the local daily, The West Australian, in the general letters section, criticising Jeff Farmer for his antics and telling him it was a team game.
In one of your posts way back you hasd a link to the Fremantle Supporters chat pages. Can you tell me what that is?
