Two that I'll keep persisting with, no matter how they fail to catch on, are:

          Stevie - Nicks
          Timmy - McVeigh*

          * No-one said they had to be good taste.

And is it just me, or is #5 more often known as Rhino than Pebbles?

That's what we call him too (and its not catching on where we sit either )

We started to call BH Big Bald Barry when he said he wanted to drop the bad from his image.

There were a few calling Kirk Ringo last year because they thought he looked like Ringo Starr but I dont think that caught on.

There is also a kid who sits near us and every time Leo Barry gets the ball she breaks out singing "Leo the Lion is the king of the jungle"

My mates and I in Bay 29 have been calling Nicks Stevie for years (as Bam Bam can attest!). So much so that my 5yo son thinks that's actually his name. Let's popularise it dammit!

FWIW, other names we use include:

Becks - Jude Bolton - for his use of 'product' and metrosexuality
                  Plugger - Ben Matthews

and several others already mentioned here. Stevie is a no-brainer for mine though!

I read in an article that crouch said his nicname was junior but all the supporters seem to just call him crouchy including myselfattimes.

Moron, idiotic, feral Collingwood supporters used to call Nick Davis " Nicky half steps " and Andrew Schauble " Slowballs " during there days at the Pies.

A few of us call Doyle 'Pelican' as an abbreviated form of that great Aussie adjectival phrase 'lean streak of pelican ****'. It started when he was not playing so well and kinda stuck (as it does)
