For the last 2 years the knockers have been challenging us to defy the odds, and god dammit we have. If ever a team can go all the way and throw logic to the wind, then its our beloved Swannies. Number one for mine. And it shall be done.

Barry Schnieder - and I thought I was the only one who thought that way!!! its a nice scarf though.
And we will all be wearing them in Melb, at the "G" on Sept 25 cheering the swannies to victory.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

i am going to stop worrying bout getting carried away or jinxed... im not playing and doubt i will change the players approach

it seems this club(fans) is too scared to back itself in as a premier or a possible contender and i know i am...always think i better not get carried away it might jinx the team or we might choke

but im gonna stop that and say SYDNEY WILL WIN THE GRAND FINAL IN 2004

The last club that had someone openly come out and say they were contenders missed out on winning the wooden spoon by the slimmest of percentage this year.

I bet Schwabby wished he never said anything now.

i want the players to take it one game at a time...but am trying to get out of the belief something i do or say will jinx the club!

yeah i know what you mean. as an engineer who is an amateur hack of a sportsman, i am always trying to convince myself that anything superstitious is a load of crap and plays no part in my performance. So it works the same way with supporting a team. I try to convince myself that wearing my lucky old scarf makes no difference to them (even though they lost games this year when i was wearing a new one, and then started winning again when i went back to wearing the old one!)

I'm with you. I think that some supersitions is a load of horse putty but in other ways I am superstitous for other stuff inc. Swans . I guess thats the way you are and can never change that in someone..
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

                              lol

i always sit when at home watching with this footstool and used to think if i moved my feet theyd start loosing so end up with pins and needles

always have to have a sip or some drink after every goal

wear my guernsey and have my flag and stuff

                              its sad :P

this year got out of it a bit
