OOOOOMMMMGGGGG That is bloody hilarious!!!!! There are so many stories I could tell you about my superstitions @ footy, It is just SO funny. Like when I go to pubs to watch away games and my mum comes, we lose, so when she heads off to the toilet, we start winning!!!!!
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Oh yeah. I dont really have a choice now anyway. I took my gf to the pies match earlier in the year (only her 2nd game) and decided she needed a scarf. Now i wasnt going to give her my old one which had been through years of sweat, tears, and pie & beer stains, so she wore the new one. It kept getting caught on something on her jacket and heaps of threads started coming out. So now that's her scarf and i always wear my "vintage" one!

?hit! And I thought I was crazy!!!!
Last year for the final against Port Adel @ Aami Stad, I wore my Swans outfit, got comfy on the couch, called mates to come over, wore my scarf & had my flag. I was waving this big piece of fabric in the family room as if I was AT the game. You gotta love it!
(Btw I was swearing at the TV whenever something went wrong)

Oh God - I have the singing bear!!!!! Ange & Tammy do too

ONe of our friends has named us the "Unholy Trininty" and Anges Husband sits behind us so as he cant hear what we yell out - he gets really embarrassed!

I also have worn to every match in the last 3 years the same red rugby top I bought in NZ - trouble is I need to re die it as its starting to look a bit pink - AND i ripped it last weekend - so must get the sewing machine out and fix it. Also Once I started to wear my Red Fleecy jacket again - we started winning.

I wear the same thick red ski socks and "lucky boots" - Aussie Ange has a pair the same and Tammy has these groovy red trainers. We wear the same stuff each game.

Christ I hope its not hot on Saturday - I might melt!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
Chickens drink - but they don't pee!
AGE IS ONLY IMPORTANT FOR TWO THINGS - WINE & CHEESE!

I think the Swans will need to win a final by a good margin to do well in a finals series. The last four finals the Swans have won have been won by margins of 6, 1, 2 and 12 points. If the Swans can get far enough ahead in a final to get "junk time", then we can rest the best players in the last quarter.

I feel we won't win a premiership until we win a final by four goals or more.

dont think they refuse to hand over the cup if u win by a point every game

but i see what ur saying ... we need a good win

i dont agree ..would be nice just need to win and then forget and refocus on the next game

I don't think my (or a lot of others) heart could take four one point final wins in a row!!!!

I think '96 was just too damn close, leaving it till the final siren to win both games!!!!!

I have a lucky pair of boxer shorts which I have worn on match days ONLY (between washes of course) since 1996. Also if I am at a game I do not watch a set shot at goal. I will always look at the Football Record.

You kidding? When the opposing team is going for a goal, I stare at the ground, also, sometimes I start barracking for the opposing team in my head and we start winning the ball! It's amazing!

                            Hmmmmmm. Interesting theory.

I watch everything can't take my eyes off the action!!! I end up in my own little world!!! It's sad, isn't it. I don't know if I can watch the start of Saturdays Game tho'. Against the Bombers I set Myself up in front of the TV early, ready to watch the game. But I got so nervous I had to get up and go for a walk!!!

It is better if I wlak in and the game has already started!!

In a way it is sad knowing it is only footy lmao.

When we played Port Adel last year for the finals, my friend was so nervous she covered her eyes & hid behind the couch! Now, I don't know if that is worse than getting up and going for a walk!

What's going on with the same poll on the 'official' (but nowhere near as good) web-site. We have had 1400+ votes and most say we will get knocked out this week. Considering the most posts I've ever seen there is about 300 I am a bit sus. Could it be that the Weagles fans are so petty as to vote in bulk on that web-site to upset us (and possibly the players)? Surely not...

And while I'm on the topic of the official web-site how lame is Talking with 'Jude' and Roosey Responds (to lame arsed questions prepared by the club, not from the fans). I enjoy reading both those columns (usually). If they are understandably too busy to come up with some new stuff, then don't bother at all...
