Re the point about not promoting itself on RWO, the two are quite different things. There has been some reference on RWO to SSI events, activities and newsletters when these have occurred. Personally, I think that SSI should not be trying to "campaign" on here. There were some previous discussions. The Q&A document on the SSI website arose from RWO questions. I don't want to hear from different organisations pushing their barrow on here, and figure that's what most want too. If you are interested in SSI, subscribe to the list. If not, don't bother. The discussions on here re SSI are characterised by people with opposing views who aren't really interested in hearing an alternate position. Hence I don't post about it much, but I do try to answer specific questions.
Re makeup of the committee ... a couple of lawyers, three company directors of small/mid sized businesses - one at least with corporate experience prior, a state exec in a major corporate (I presume it's listed, but don't know off the top of my head) and a couple of people in employment. The business people typically sell to corporate.
THese are just a couple of quick answers, I've not spent a lot of time on them as I'm in a bit of a rush.
