What It Feels To Be A Swan In Perth At The Moment

Alrighty this has to be the biggest game the club has played in over 2 years in my thoughts, iliving in Wa i have watched the western derby atmosphere slowly die down and the doker fans have gone into hibernation all a sudden our college is full of eagles fans with west coast scarfs announcments over the PA saying Go eagles, and i feel i am the olnly swan here, im severly outnumbered but im worried if we lose do i just admit we played poor or should i make exuses up anyway just thouht id all let you know how much this game means to me , i have no money bets just reputation on the line, please o please win swnnnies and deck your self out in red, this is a huge game and the good thing is i feel as though the pressure is on them, there so up themselves and fickle, id love to knock them off......GO BLOODS

Isolated - that's how we feel. Frustrated too that it so diificult to up-root onesself to go over there and offer personal support at the ground.

But you can in other ways. Send the players an email at [email protected]. I was in the players' change rooms after the Essendon prelim in 1996 and there were copies of faxes and emails from around the globe from parties as varied as Jayson Daniels to the head of Puma in Germany (!).

Let Jason Ball (and Myles lol) know that you support him as a West Australian Swans supporter. The players will get a huge kick out of support from West Australia!!!!

I've been in contact with the WA Supporters Club to try and stir them up to showing their support for their side in some way or other.

I agree with you JF, Iam loving it at the moment we are getting more coverage of Sydney and it players than any other stage even an article on Bevan in yesterdays West (yes Bevan) Its funny you come on to RWO and everyone believes that we will beat the Toasters and yet here in the West on the Radio and paper etc they have no doubt that the Eagles will playing next week and on, even to the point that they are talking about next week already. I do hate playing the West Coast in a final as if we lose I will be hearing about it for the next 6mths so I all I ask is Please, please, please WIN!

            Hi westernswan

Yes we have to put up with the west coast crap this week its hard at work as you are aware they think they will win the flag. hahahhahaha

It will be great on monday to face them at work, when they get there ass kicked.

Have you had dockers and other teams supporters tell you they they would love the swannies to kick the eagles by 100 plus to shut them up.

            regards Tim ( morley wa)

            go the swannies
