    Ross Lyon

"(But we won't play defensively) as if you just want to be a car in a caravan you are not going to win too much footy if they are a caravan, so we actually want to get in first for the ball and be proactive."

I say it's no bloody wonder our midfield is slow to respond, if these are the instructions he gives!

I read that quote several times and I'm still confused. No wonder we have been dubbed the "Drab Four"!!! they are still looking for the caravan to play in!!! Maybe they can't work out how to reverse it into the spot, can be tricky!!?!?

I reckon you leave the metaphores to the experts Rossy.

Still, I doubted him when we were getting regularly smashed out of the middle, but I have to hand it to him, the boys seemed to have finally responded.

We have the bluest of blue collar midfields and the "drab four" suit me fine until our burgeoning superstars come through to make it a fab four.

Maybe he means a car in a caravan park. Whatever, it is pretty obscure.

Sounds like he picked it up at a Mick Malthouse/Kevin Sheedy coaching seminar. Both of them talk in riddles and try to be funny, but no one is laughing.

Ross, if ya not a comedian and you're timing is out, it doesn't matter what comes out of you're gob, because it ain't gonna be funny. Stick to the background son and leave the joshin' to Roosey.

Yeah Leave the smart comments to the expert - Roos.

Never mind the critics, says Roos
