Whoever said we should go for Rowan Andrews I really agree with them, but maybe it's the second glass of red wine, Ican't remember why this ties in with the Richmond stuff.
Please no Richo...The people who taught him at Brendon Shaw college said he was as dumb as all get out,and nothing I've seen refutes that.

      Opinions??
I would consider Justin Blumfield, he was great at Essendon but at Richmond being at a **** club turned him into a **** player. If he came up here maybe he'd be a great player again.

Richmond would have to pay us to take stafford back.

i was driven to exasparation by staffords' lack of desire to work on the field, i thought he would do well at richmond if he was any sort of worthwhile player for anyone to want.

i seem to remember him saying how much he loved Melbourne after he had just moved there, and i thought, this may be it, this may be what he needs....

my point; he has not delivered at two different clubs, add to this the fact that he was a bit mouthy about what a rough deal he said the swans had given him, and the fact that he has that dirty streak that sees him unnecessarily suspended......

          please please no more.

            Blumfield is the interesting one.

Was the best mark for his size by a mile in the AFL in 2000, and was also very good below his knees. Injuries have been an issue over the last couple of seasons but I also reckon confidence after being shafted by SnDon was also a problem.

If I remember correctly he is from NSW and wanted to go back to Sydney four years ago until Sheedy talked him out of it.

Would be an absolute bargin for a last rounder in the draft or pick in the pre season draft if he was able to recapture his form.

Would not surprise me if he ends up on the list at all.

              Mathew Bate, Eastern Ranges, update.

BOG, 5 goals from CHF. Take note Swans recruiting staff. Have you watched him at all?

Big, strong, plays forward or back. Genuine key position. Didn't play Aust Championship so won't be rated top 10. Still U17 and not sure if he is old enough to be drafted.

Better be on the Swans must haves, because he is already on a few lists in Melbourne. Big watch by Carlton as I understand.

Similar pick up to Williams and Schauble. Cast away players of this calibre and age dont come around that often. And good coaches like Roos and Sheedy can get the best out of these players.

I say give him a shot. Would be a better pick up than Aaron Rogers, and we gave him a shot

Allison, Brereton, Daffy, Tingay. We are looking for someone to fill their shoes and the list of available Tigers' players is full of possibilities.

Add Scott Russell to that. Yeah, surely the Swans woudl no better now. Unless such a player comes virtually free, why bother. In fact, why bother anyway.

He has been delisted so Blumfield will be almost free.

Can't see anyone taking him in the draft before pick 70, so if we have the space on the list then our pre season pick could be a goer.

Difference between Blumfield and the rest of those players delisted by the Tigers is that he has talent and has been able to play AFL consistently before.

Worth the late punt I reckon.
