Sorry I forgot youve got the opera house...and a coat hanger...****.. thats great.
The beaches look great but the wind - its forever blowing sand in your face (best weather symptom #2). Perth is also set to become the first of Australia's capital cities to become a ghost town as it stops raining there (best weather symptom #2).

WA (or maybe just andimacz) is still stuck in some 20th century timewarp where the phrase "hottest looking women" is used to mean that the aforementioned females are sexually exciting, rather than that they are sweating a lot (best weather symptom #3).

Did I mention that the surf breaks away from the shore on the West coast ?
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

Latest travel update for dumbarse Sandgropers

The West Coast Eagles Cheer Squad is bring ONE member from Perth. What passion, I tell you. "SGIO, GO EAGLES GO!"

(Their Melbourne squad is bringing 20 I'm told, including their president who is a Sydney Melbourne-based member! )

Believe me, the real passionate football supporters in Perth are those in purple. The votes who can VOTE for their CLUB board. WCE is just a money-making institution with no character or soul.

The sign they used to hold up says "We're not ignorant, only one-eyed" It should be "we're not ignorant, just still in the 90s!"

This thread is cheering me up heaps!

              Ssh about that!

And don't mention the word "toll road" either. A dumbarse Sandgroper wouldn't understand what it meant.

It appears from the ticketek site that StadeOz is not opening level 6 for the game. Not looking good for a big crowd.

Anyone heard any actual sales figures?

Against the bummers level 6 on the Eastern side WAS open. The western side (StadeOz members) was closed though.

This time it seems that the eastern side is closed. Whether the western side is open depends on how many StadeOz members turn up.

We should have played at the SCG

will be about 45000 I'd say js. However the AFL have a contract with TS. SCG is simply not an option. Hey maybe they could bank some finals Or even better, play Port v Geelong there

For H&A games they have to open up the Eastern side of L6- a lot of members have their reserved seats there. Seems strange that they would not have at least one side open. There are limited seats on L4 and not everyone likes watching the game from ground level.
