IMO it looked like Barry Hall was giving Glass a piggy-back ride for the first half.

Yes I thought the umpiring was fair too. A few went for us and a few against us, but no absolute major howlers either way. Credit where it's due.

Umpiring was good.......compared to what we have seen this year. Still some terrible misses (such as Magic's tackle on wirripunda that someone mentioned earlier.)

Baz never gets enough free kicks, so i am not surprised.

hate to be a devils' advocate, and obviously BBB gets robbed most of the time, but..........(and i haven't watched the tape yet) IIRC baz was paid a free after a boundary throw in inside 50 for a ruck infringement, looked a bit soft.

His opponent got caught impeding Baz from getting to the fall of the ball by holding on to his jumper. Often these go unrewarded because the umpire doesn't see it. The umpire had a good view of this incident and had no hesitation paying the free. There was a good view of this on the television replay of the jumper holding with the umpire in shot, thus the umpire saw it clearly.

yes that was rather soft but there were several others that he should have gotten but didnt

If Hall got 2 frees then the Umpiring was OK!!!
