    Is Goodes the new Kouta?

Well? Is he? Does he have more work to do? Has he passed the level required? A meaningless poll for me to muck around with the featured option of this site having a poll function.

Yep. He mops the floor with him.

Nice comparison, where'd you think up that comparison from ?

Seriously though he is just about there. The more I think of the swans signing him up a new contract the more I am absolutly rapped with the decision. Super athlete. Can do anything, with consistency will give the brownlow a real nudge.

Yeah. He has the odd brain explosion, and occasional issues with consistency. I've been wrapped with him since day one. In general, one of the classiest players going around atm.

Still has a long way to go to be in Kouta's league but man he has to be the closest we have to a genuine superstar............bar injuries I think this time next year we will know if he is going to be the next Kouta or not.

Had a geat preseason and started the year off well. Let's return to this poll mid year and then again at round 21.

No...I reckon Goodsie has the potential to be a latter day Kouta, certainly he's versatile...backman, ruckman, ruck rover, forward...and he's got flair, but sometimes seems to suffer a rush of blood. Then again who doesn't? I reckon he, BBBH and Jude, shd be put on notice that they are in line to be a future swannies captains....and that it depends on how they go this year. Yes, BBBH...as I said when this topic came up last year, a year of cool temperedness, and let's evaluate his prospects at the end of the season as a likely replacement captain to stewie in a couple of years...
Goodsie could indeed become a superstar...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

I agree. More "around the ground" presence has to be a great attribute for a leader. I found it hard to accept Dunks as Acting-Captain for this reason. I don't see Jude as Captain at any stage in the future.

                  Yes

'nuff said (except that that idiot Newman has tipped Goodes for the Brownlow)
