The huge thing that struck me from this game was how clean the Lions handling was compared to St Kilda. Despite the pressure, the Lions consistently controlled the ball with their first touch, meaning a few extra moments to get the ball away. St Kilda fumbled all night.

Oh please PLEASE let it be two weeks!Originally posted by Mike_B
Reported for unduly rough play. Never actually saw it so can't comment. But if found guilty, he will miss the GF - even if its only a 1 week offence, he will get an extra week due to his terrible record.
No prelim or GF. Lynch under a cloud as well for both games.
They start having to throw Leppa, Voss & Bradshaw around to cover and some cracks (albeit small ones) start to appear in that spine.
God of harsh penalities -- I beseech you!To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!Comment

If they do to Port what they did to St Kilda last night, it will psychologically destroy Port ... he he he heOriginally posted by j s
Of course, if it turns out (speaking hypothetically now) that it's Port they will be playing.........
I almost hope we don't make the GF now - I would hate to see my Swannies get slaughtered like that. I think I'd rather see them lose by a narrow margin in the PF. Unless its the evil scum Port - then I hope we kick their wharfie arses.
