    Dissapointing Crowd Expected

Well port have basically overtaken us for ticket sales and i rekon 45000 has got to be the absolute highest we can get now, all those who said 60000 earlier in the week can now see that sydney is a rugby league state and still struggles to get a big crowd to a final, although it is painful to say it i honestly did think 60000 may have been a target ohhh how wrong i was , lets just hope the weather holds out so we dont look like fools infront of everyone else in the afl and only get 35000 through the gates......better luck next year swannies in getting a big crowd

I guess you might call it an unconventional approach to communication.

What crowd is required to make TS rock?
I've heard the atmosphere is a little dissapointing with less than 50k.
              Correct?

yeah, I'd say something like last year's Round 21 Pies game would make it rock!

The official attendance was about 40,000, but for once it's not a bad thing. It meant that when the weather got really bad there was plenty of room for everyone to get under cover.

40K was great crowd. I expected 45K, but not taking into account the foreast.

Anyone who expected 60K has rocks in there head. Even two Melbourne teams playing in Melbourne only just got 60K.
                      This is week 1 FFS.

Give us a prelim, and we'll get 60K+

I think 40k is quite respectable . After predicyin bad weather all week , it lived up to expectations , with the game seriously being considered for abandonment at half time . A lot of people would have left a decision to the last minute with an eye to the weather .With a good forecast or good weather on the night or an Eastern seaboard team or more aof a build up ,the crowd would be a different story .
                        give it to the game

The atmosphere for 40K was pretty good - lotsa noise and the CS seemed to really get the Northern end going.

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

The atmosphere was great for 40k. As usual, Jules got the stadium rocking with his drum.
