    Craig Bolton

I haven't watched the replay yet, but from my position at the ground, I felt that Craig Bolton played one of his best, if not his best, game for the Swans tonight. Seemed to pop up all over the place when needed, and added a couple of goals for good measure. He seems to really be hitting his best form again after being down a little this year compared to 2003.

Great game - destroyed Judd in the second qtr, and was very good on the counterattack.

How about that set shot from outside 50?

      Where did that come from?

Agreed, gave us such rebound from deep in defence.

The mastermind trick of alternating both Willo and C. Bolton on Judd worked to perfection - both players did the job on him brilliantly.

The goal Bolton kicked was enormous - outside the 50m by a while.

He has come of age since spending more time in the midfield. Bolton is a class act.

I just finished watching the replay, and for mine, CBolt was BOG. Williams was also very good but a lot of his possessions missed their mark. I can't recall one of CBolt's disposals not going where it was intended. And his goal from outside 50 was an absolute beauty.

I also think Adam Goods' first half was sensational.

I had Willo BoG only by an inch because it came down to the 2 Judd Goals and who was on him at that moment - it turned out it was CBolt - in the end though it was the only mark on his game last night.

Goodsey is a hero. After the Grand Final he'll have 5 months to heal those knees. He could be back next year at his Brownlow best so long as those knees don't bother him.

The thing about Will's disposals is that they did not go directly to the opposition if they didn't find a Swan. He kept pumping it forward to a leading player or contest. eg Micky's goal on the hooter of halftime.

His game was pure class and the essence of experience. He found space on the wing like no one else on the ground.

Some other players in the first Q must have been colourblind because they kicked directly to WC players on their own.

On C.Bolton. He may very well be a big time player. If I recall correctly he was pretty good in the finals last year.

yep. hats off to roos, i'm sure in years to come he will be regarded as one of the tactical masterminds in the game. coupled with his ice cool demeanour i hope he coaches the swans for many many years.

Craig Bolton adds so much to this team.
