The wind didn't help us on the Eastern wing, but thanks to the ponchos, we stayed pretty dry. Sat through the pouring rain of halftime just so I wouldn't have to come back to a wet seat!
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

And did you see that lunatic with the drum go upstairs in the last quarter and get them revved up. Frigging idiot; he should know better!

I was siiting further back behind the cheer squad - moved to undercover at the back when it started raining. Your drum worked really well to get the crowd around me cheering. Please keep using it.
Everyone around me was happy last night and lots of people joining in cheers and that big Syyyyddddnnnneeeeyyyy chant.

I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.
Originally posted by westernswan agreed that long sydneeeeeeeeeey chant worked great but would we ever get one up at an away game (eg this week)
You bet. I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear it at the MCG this Friday. There might be 25-30,000 Swans supporters there. It could be a sell out as the Saints have a big following.

There was a few attempts to get one going at the Melbourne game at Telstra Dome. Right moment, right scoreline, I reckon we can cause the MCG to vibrate.

Some of the attempts lately the tempo has been too quick. It needs to be really drawn out. When the tempo is slow enough the whole arena can synchronise. Too quick and it falters.

Doubt that many will go down from Sydney mate, with it being a school day and all. ;-) I'm going to have enough trouble getting out of work as it is. Hmm, flying on another plane with a swelling leg, fun! (Still better than 10 hours in a car .)
I guess we should be barracking for Geelong today. Even if I have several Power friends who I know would be hurting like crazy if they go under again.
If the Catters beat Port and we beat St Kilda, we get an MCG preliminary final, and more practise where we need it most. In front of a crowd that I would imagine would be near to 50-50 support-wise (not that many Drizabones coming up from Sleep Hollow). Many non biased Victorians may side with us, as it seems in Melbourne we are not necessarily seen as an out-and-out interstate team.
Otherwise another trip to Footy Park. And more expense.. UGH.
I better get well FAST!
