If Davis does not play McVeigh would be handy on the wide open spaces of the MCG .
Davis feels a numb sensation

I'm not sure how being fit would prevent stress fractures. I think we should rest him this week.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Exactly impact and stress injuries can't be prevented by top fitness but certainly rehabilitation can be aided by a good diet, attitude and work in the gym. Paul Roos alluded to this this morning saying that the players who have played every game this year are generally professional in their attitude and he especially commended Goodes. I don't think that the lower motivation etc. of Davis has caused the injuries but he should learn to work harder and not articulate his thoughts regarding his laziness. The latter tends not to endear him to Swans supportersand you wouldn't imagine he would be many people's favourite as a result.LIFE GOES ONComment

I don't want to open this can of worms again, but Nick articulating his thoughts and being honest in that interview did endear him to this Swans fan. It makes a refreshing change from a footy cliche packed interview.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

A lot of other players have bad injuries but they do not make a big thing of it, especially the day after they failed to perform in a big game. Smacks of bruised ego for mine...
Head down, bum up Nick!"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.Comment

He just seems to whinge alot dont u think? He was like that at collingwood and his attitude seems to have crept over to our swannies.
Even Roosy says that he is a great player when he is has that mental motivation going as well.
Always seem to hear about why he is so unhappy, how he was going to change to League, blah blah blah. You dont hear Goodsey or Magic or Bally complain about their injuries. Thank god it was only a 2nd round draft pick for him, absolute bargainComment

It's just typical isn't it? We've just been told for the past two weeks that we were in better condition for the finals then we were last year in regards to injuries, and now we get told Nick is surviving on Leo like injections.
If Nick is low in confidence (due to his injury) surely this is going to make it worse? Missing out on the finals!
