    Davis out...who comes in?

It looks increasinlgy likely that Nick Davis will be out for Friday's game.

Selection to ponder...who do we bring in?

I think Heath James (big body to play forward or back) or McVeigh as he has been fairly good for us so far this year!

    Who do you think?
    Swannies for life!

    Probably McVeigh I'd say

Matt I sorta agree with you, I was thinking we needed another tall defender as a back up going into this game and I was wondering who it could be? Powell, James/ bad luck LRT has been injured.

But do they look at a defender or go for a midfielder McV or Fossy,

My early thoughts are the Tall defender but I would also wait to see St Kildas selections / injuries.

Has Roosy saved Scooter for finals time......most likely James to combat their stong forwards or Macca for the midfield.

James had a ripper against the Saints earlier in the year.

Is he out for certain? I'd like them to retain him and give him another chance. He would help stretch their defense - some whom are not fully full

depends what the area of need is. Fosdike would bolster the midfield, likewise McVeigh. James could be used at either end and stretch their defence or match up on a tall in their forward line.

Why a tall defender? Aren't we staisfied with the way our backline is shutting down forwards.

                              Melbourne 7 goals
                              Brisbane 7 goals
                              Richmond 6 goals
                              West Coast 4 goals

Who pray tell do we banish from the backline?

James as a burst player in the forward line!!!! Why, when we have Hall, Oloughlin, Okeefe, Schneider, Buchanan and a host of other midfielders who can kick goals.

James hasn't played at the top level for a long time, McVeigh has, and has proved he fits in by his willingness to tackle, run and get possessions with limited ground time.

We don't need Fosdike's penchant for stuffing things up, when the rest of the team's disposal is the best it has been all season.
