has anyone seen the ad on channel 10 advertising this weekend's game against freo? i saw it during rove [live] and it was awesome, by far the best ad ive seen for ages (im not biased though) at least as far as the swans go...

Yep it beats that bloody silly add of the two guys at the turnstyles. How are we meant to compete when the NRL has a brilliant advertising campaign and we have two old blokes saying who's comming to the game.
The biggest laugh was in the afl record on Saturday night, which was saying how pleased the afl isabout the adds and how it will attract people to live matches. Some big marketing guru thought of it. -
I haven't seen any - I'll have to keep an eye out. But the NRL ads are certainly excellent - nearly makes me want to watch a game... nearly, but not quite!!Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I guess 10 have two options for VIC CTS, Port Bris or Syd Freo and they've taken Port Bris, hard to suggest Syd Freo would beat that for ratings.
Also note the AFL website has not listed the Syd Freo coverage on 10 in Sydney

I totally understand and agree with the point made about ratings.
The thing that pisses me off is, that at the start of the season, every supporter wants to see their new look team.
When do I get my chance?
If it was a toss up between those 2 games mid season, fair enough.
I don't expect the world, but jeez, we have Adelaide at the SCG next week.
Probably gonna be round 4 before I get to see my club play
