Last night?s program was an absolute joke. 6 teams are left in the finals and the Swans barely rated a mention.
They had the perfect opportunity to grill Grant Thomas on some potential match-ups or thoughts on the Swans game plan, yet opted to throw him some questions that were softer than the couch itself.
At least Thomas was quite candid on the injuries to some of his players, especially Kozischke. It is rare for a coach to admits so many players are underdone and hopefully the Sydney coaching staff were tuning in.

There are two things Walls does that are retarded:

          1. Whenever a team is having difficulty getting the ball inside the 50m he suggests that they move their full forward onto the ball. I thought it was a bee in his bonnet for Hall but he made the same suggestion for Matera.

          2. As of the weekend he has started that "big, strong boys" crap that Don Scott used to go on with. He sounds like he's getting a 80N3R.

I do like the idea of us slipping under the radar and referred to as a negative team blah blah...I think it really helps us in the end..keeps that us against them thing going...

However, I pay a good amount of money to Foxtel each month for the service and expect them to give the Swans at least equal coverage.

They are a national broadcaster and I really am getting sick of us hardly getting any coverage.

Melbourne papers are one thing, but to have hardly anything said about us on a national football show is just plain wrong.

It was good to see Lethal give the Melbourne football mafia an absolute spray yesterday. It was no surprise that this also failed to rate a mention On The Couch. It would have eaten into the 30 minutes they allocate to talking about St Kilda every week.

He is also so patronising when he says it. A perfect example of a failed coach who still thinks he knows better than successful ones.

                  What makes him failed?

Richmond was a failure of course, but he really set Brisbane on the right path and is a premiership coach with Carlton.

I quite like Wallsy. Seems very fair.

If he was a decent coach why did he leave Brisbane when he did? He could've stayed on and coached their young stars like Voss - instead he went to Richmond.
Since that disastrous career move no one has been knocking down the door for his services.

Didn't he just want to leave Brisbane and return to Melbourne? Therefore the swap with Northey was perfect? and also, I thought he simply just didn't want to coach anymore after the bad experience he had at Richmond?

He has acheived a lot more than most coaches currently coaching in the AFL ever will.

Walls shouldn't be remembered for Richmond, as Blight shouldn't be remembered for St. Kilda.

You would reckon come finals they would look at all the sides. Us and WCE didn't play in the finals if you listen Melbourne media.

Good. We don't need to read/hear how good the Swans are. Neither do Roos and the team. I does not fuss me that we get pretty much ignored by the Melb media. Lets face it, the Swans could win the flag and it all we would hear from Melb would be drivel about salary concessions, and all we would hear from opposition fans would be garbage about the Swans 'rugby' style of footy being bad for the game. Who cares? Let them eat cake...

That said, some more coverage in Sydney/NSW media, and in depth coverage discussing the sublties of the game, would not hurt. League is vulnerable I think, and Swans success could bring a few converts.

the problem was also the Brown incident, spent a lot of time on that. There was a lopsided discussion of the Saints due to Thomas being on.
