    Crowd Figures

It has been proven in the past that league lies about there actual crowd figures. An example of this was on Monday where they claimed 9,422. No way. There have been bigger crowds there and have posted arond 5,000. Once on The Back Page, i think, they did a head count (not live of course) that showed 4,500 when the league posted 8,700. I just want to know, do the AFL ever exaggerate the crowds like the NRL does on a frequent basis or is it honest?
    - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

Hard to say really. Unless you go and actually count each person yourself, you'll have to trust the numbers given. There's times when I've tried to guess the crowd and it's been a bit above or below the actual number - but that's probably because I haven't got a clue what size crowd is in there

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Don't think so. If so the Swans would have fudged the low crowds we got last year. Down to 16000 towards the end of the season. Like Des we normally play guess the crowd figure and are normally within 1000 either way.

Besides isn't there a fee to the AFL for each attendee for equalisation. Wouldn't want to bump it up if it was costing money
