    New forecast - good news!

    Friday
Early showers then fine until rain develops later in the day. Min 9 Max 17

Should be quite greasy and VERY unlike Telstra Dome. Should nulify any advantage Reiwoldt has in the air.

If we were playing on Saturday the forecast is for hail!

Until last Saturday night I had never considered rain and wet weather football as a positive for Sydney.

exactly. in fact I would have considered us arguably the worse wet weather side in the comp.

No doubt though that wet would not suit Saints

Riewoldt takes a lot of marks on his chest. I don't think the wet really worries him.

St Kilda's form in the wet is 2/5 whereas ours is 4/10, so not much difference.

Someone told me the other day, that all last Sat proved was that we arent the worst side in the wet, but still around 14th or 15th.

          I dont like rain!

            IMO rain = bad

They will be out of their comfort zone just playing in dewy conditions. Rain levels the playing field too much.

That said, if we are good enough...

Yep - rain is bad. This sudden view that we are good in the wet after one good game (against a WA team of all things!!!) reminds me of earlier this year when some people suddenly thought Saddington was about to become a star forward after one game. Trends take more than a single game.

Can anyone please tell me whether or not we will get wet if there is rain - we're in section N13, row A. This looks to be level 1 (not ground). Cheers

we've never played well in the wet but...
last sat was the first time ive seen the boys actually enjoy playing in wet...especially in a thunderstorm!!! they worked together in a cohesive unit so hopefully itll give them more confidence in the rain

For a team that handballs as much as the Swans specially coming out of defence I think rain is a big disadvantage plus our forward line is probably more dangerous in the air than at ground level.

By the look of things, both teams aren't all that fantastic in the wet, so it's probably not an advantage or a disadvantage to either of the teams. You never know with Melbourne's weather, it could end up being a perfect night!
