    Disappointed, but not bitter

The Sainters deserved their win last nght...they wanted to progress further (at least till next week) a lot more than we did. Good luck to them and their supporters, who have almost been as much starved of success as we have.
I am extremely disappointed that we AGAIN failed in a game which I believe we had a lot of things in our favour. But how many times in the past few years have we had the jeckyll &hyde swans? Admittedly, not so much under Roosie, but it's still there in the club culture -- super swans one week, crap swans the next.
Apart from that brief spurt in term 3, I for a moment thought that 15 or so Sally Robbinses has donned swannies guernsies out there....
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

I felt gutted for a while during the 3rd quarter but wasn't too bad at the end of the game, probably because we were beaten by such a better team.

Today I'm OK. A bit flat and also feeling a bit lost, like what am I suppose to think about now? Putting away my scarf etc was a bit sad. But we move on to the next season and before that, summer. We hope we do well in the draft and trading. We wait for the next fixture to be released and we plan our footy w'ends away. And we get on with other things in life (now, where'd I put my boardshorts).

yeah i was angry in the 3rd qtr and even more so when milne got that soft free kick. i reckon that sums up our season. im not blaming the umpires solely for last night or the season in general, but how many times this season has our momentum been killed by terrible decisions against us in front of goal. anyways, today is such a crappy day, i feel sooooooo empty and am really wanting to take out my anger on something. it is just so hard to move on when i was so confident about last night and to see the season just go down the toilet. it is so reminiscent of the past mcg finals, ala essendon and bulldogs a few years back. oh well, im looking forward to next year now, but hopefully we can be active in the trade period and get wat we really need

I felt the same during the 3rd quarter, I was wondering if I could manage to throw my burning scarf onto the ground from the 3rd tier. But then I would've had to get some matches and I would probably burn my self and some poor bastard sitting below and be thrown out of the MCC.

But then I thought well I'm sure the players are just as dissapointed as we were probably more so. The saints were there to atone for their p!ss weak performance last week.

Then during the 4th qtr when I resigned my self to a loss, and the people in front of me left, and the seats were 12 and 13, that is when I looked at the seats and realised I was in Seat 13!!!! damn I shoulda moved earlier!!!

            I'm definately not bitter.
You know the boys would be beating themselves up far worse than these forum posts anyway, so there's no need for any more brutal words in my opinion.

Just let me say though, I was so impressed with Jude Bolton's effort last night.
