How far off a priemership are we?
Personally Roosy has got the best out of a blue collar team that has only two genuine stars in Hall and Goodes when 100% fit, 1/2 a star in Magic sadly injuries have stopped him being I beleive the silky skilled midfielder that we so desperately need
Does Roosy generally think we are only a handfull of players short of being a champion team.Which unfortunately I don't think are going to become available this year.
With Stewey,Willo and Ball likely to only have one year left do we continue down the road of the youth policy or do we recruit to have one decent crack at it and offer some of our Blue Collar players up as trade bait.
Some tough decisions ahead I feel...........I think we have one of the best coaches going around..........just wish we had a few more genuine stars for Roosy to work with because the current game plan falls down badly on bigger grounds and wet weather.
I think the next Sydney Superstar has to be unearthed internally and not recruited from other teams. I would love to see Roosy continue down the youth road even if it meant a couple of years down near the bottom.Sadly this won't happen due to the fickle nature of our membership base as they fall of in droves when Sydney are not winning.
Just my 2 cents worth will be a interesting 12 months as Roosy enters the last year of his 3 year plan.
