TEN is stiffing Sydney on the Brownlow

Looks like we will get a 60 min highlights starting at 11:30 PM which is about an hour after the winner will be known.

(Better than NINE though which didn't show ANY of it last year. IIRC SEVEN used to show the last 30 or so minutes live)

The dilemma arises - wait till 11:30 and pretend it's live or follow the results online and spoil the surprise?

With it not being shown live on TEN in Sydney, they should allow FOX to cover it live...disappointing!

Totally understand Tens reasoning- but why the hell doesn't Fox Footy get this live to show us?

The AFL really need to look at the Pay TV side of things for Sydney.

Most hardcore AFL fans in Sydney have Fox Footy, so it makes sense to show things on there that we don't normally get for commericial reasons - it also allows AFL friendly pubs to show live AFL to people who want to see it but don't have Fox Footy.

Bugger! I was really looking forward to seeing it this year as I have not seen it in the past. Guess it wouldn't rate well up here in Sydney. I HATE living in an NRL dominated state!!

Just saw an ad for White Line Fever on Brownlow night - they will be doing live updates of the voting throughout the count. So that will be good.

Much better than Barney's crap thing they had the past few years.

On the Couch is on at 7:30 next Mon night. White Line Fever is on at 8:30 which includes a live broadcast of the count.

Just noticed WHY Ten isn't starting the Brownlow till 11:30.......they are showing the Emmy awards first.

Which ponders a question......which awards will feature the better acting? The Emmy or the Brownlow?

Just noticed that the AFL states get the Emmy's at 11.30pm

Wonder if there is a TV addicts group or something writing to Ten and complaining about the awards shabby replay time
