    McGough, out of contract

Even though we are looking for experienced midfielders would they consider McGough. Although limited games this years he has shown plenty when he has played, worth looking at?

    Cheers

We have enough of midfielders with average foot skills. Dont think we need another one.

I don't think he fits the definition of class midfielder that we need.He should stay in Melb as he is a better wet tracker than Rough Habit.

Wet tracker only. You would only put you're money on him if it was a heavy track. Besides he is too pidgeoned toed for me. The last one I can think of who had that bigger physical feature who was any good was Daicos. And he ain't in that class.

Mcgoof is the centreman in my greatest spastics of all time centreline.

Glenn Nugent - Mark Mcgoof - Jayson Daniels

There is no way he is worth considering.

O'Bree is if he can turn the clock back a few years/ get more opportunities (he's probably fallen behind Licuria and Burns)

OMG Reggi you call Mcgough a spastic and then in the same post claim that O'Bree would be worth picking up

FWIW if he came on the cheap i think McGough would be worth a go. Yes he is slow and has disposal issues but he is only 19/20 and could answer our centre clearance problems.

Obviously our first priority would be for a quick midfielder with good skills (Paul Williams 5 years ago!)

As for O'Bree he is a poor mans Ben Matthews

Hey, these guys are all from Collingwood. They're just poor, fullstop!

But having said that, we certainly have had some good trading with the Pies recently (with the exception of the unfortunate circumstances with mummy's boy)

Nice to see you back Reggi!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

It's hard to argue that we have not picked up some good players from Collingwood and I think that given the opportunities he can be a class pick up. We've got the fleet of foot covered, we need hard nuts that can pick up 30 possessions. He has shown that capability!

he would be ok for next to nothing as someone to be put in the middle and get it out to the fleet of foot. Problem is with the faster blokes such as Kennelly and Crouch they aren't the type necessarily to be true midfielders.

Does anyone else think that Rhyce Shaw would be a better pick up than McGough?
