Sydney V Roos in LOS ANGELES

    Greetings all!!

Just an early call to see if anyone sees themselves as a possibility of being in LA on Jan 23rd 2005 for the Swans / Roos game?

By good luck and not not good management I will be over in LA and making damn sure I am at the game showing the Yanks how to support a real footy team!!

Is there a possibility of getting a small cheer squad assembled in the US of A??

There will be plenty there John - the curtainraiser will be an international between the Canadian Northwind and the US Revolution.

Good opportunity to show how the game is developing over here.

The AFL must look at our forum!!

After posting the thread last night about the game, there was an article by the Kangaroos today saying it was unlikely that the match would go ahead...BUGGER!!

May as well withdraw the thread!!

Perhaps we could organise our own expats game of footy in LA!!

I don't think anyone would be driving there unless they built a bridge or tunnel

But can anyone answer my question - why would we play in LA?

I still think there is a good chance that a game will go ahead. North were just one of the clubs interested. I think Collingwood and Adelaide were both keen to involved.
